SIG AIR M17/M18 TDC hop up chamber - Black
SIG AIR M17/M18 TDC hop up chamber - Black
Extremely well designed hop-up chamber for the VFC Proforce P320 M17 / M18 series - which actually works. I'm using it in a setup with the Laylax Nine Ball "fixed" outer barrel, the Laylax Nine Ball tight bore 6.03 inner barrel, Maple leaf Mr. Hop 60° Silicone bucking. A word of caution - with the Laylax "fixed, non-recoiling" outer barrel, this hop-up chamber is a very tight fit - the fixed outer barrel doesn't allow for much movement of the hop-up chamber and inner barrel, it might seem hard to assemble the slide since this chamber has a very tight grip on the receiver frame. (Since it is build for precision, I totally get that). The biggest advantage is not having to disassemble the whole chamber for changing the bucking or inner barrel. Same goes for the pin fixing the chamber to the outer barrel - it's kept in place by a small hex screw. No more hitting that pin in despair, ordering replacement pins, etc. Whoever dis- and reassembled the M17 hop up chamber several time will see a huge benefit in this design. In matters of precision, I can't tell a real difference because my previous setup with the original VFC hop up chamber (with the above mentioned tuning parts) was already highly precise, with the TTI chamber it still is. All in all between the three options I know - original VFC hop-up chamber, Top Shooter M17 hop-up chamber, and the TTI infinity TDC this is by far the best option.
- +well designed, easy to assemble / disassemble
- +high-end built and finish
- -none, so far
